SKINCARE FAVORITES

When I first started being more mindful of my wellness and all the harmful products I wanted to stop using — two main things caught my attention — my household cleaners and my skin / beauty routine.

Now let’s talk about my favorite oils I’ve incorporated into my daily skincare routine. I laugh a lot so I have fine lines and wrinkles, and I just turned thirty-two and I can see the skin discoloration already starting to happen. After only a few months of using Young Living products vs my normal expensive and pretty packaged products, I can see a major difference. — All safe, non-toxic, plant-based oils that support healing from the moment they hit your skin.

 

+ ROSE

Hydrates dry skin, clear acne, reduce signs of aging, minimize the appearance of scars, and help with conditions such as eczema and rosacea.

 

+ ROSEMARY

Great for oily skin, full of antioxidants, iron + calcium that help reduce signs of aging

 

SAGE

Natural anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial, sage can reduce excess oil + reduce blemishes

 

+ LAVENDER

Smells heavenly, and helps heal skin + encourages new skin-cell growth. LAVENDER IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO START AND A MUST-HAVE IN EVERY HOME. THIS POPULAR ESSENTIAL OIL SOOTHES AND NOURISHES ALL SKIN TYPES AND IS EASY TO INCORPORATE INTO YOUR SKIN CARE REGIMEN EVERY DAY.

 

+ GERANIUM

Great for A L L skin types. This one also helps with hormonal imbalances and it’s cleansing properties also diminish fluid retention. GERANIUM IS A POPULAR CHOICE TO HELP SMOOTH AND TONE SKIN. THIS ESSENTIAL OIL IS GREAT FOR ALL SKIN TYPES, BUT IT’S ESPECIALLY BENEFICIAL FOR SKIN THAT’S EITHER OILY OR DRY.

 

+ JASMINE

Oil that is a cicatristant which means it can help fade and eventually eliminate scarring and pick marks in the skin

 

+ FRANKINCENSE

Holy grail of skin oils. Apply neat to support acne, wrinkles, dark spots, scars, dry skin 

 

+ NEROLI

Has reputation for regenerating skin cells and restoring elasticity in dry, mature, irritated or sensitive skins. Can help minimize enlarged pores. Linked to treating skin conditions in relations to emotions or stress. Oh and one more thing — aids in reduction of appearance of fragile or broken capillaries + varicose veins

 

+ BLUE TANSY

You know my love runs deep for BT. Helps reduce the redness and soothe and repair irritated skin thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. Great for acne prone skin bc it helps clear blemishes without drying the skin

 

+ IDAHO BLUE SPRUCE

Soothing skin conditions, such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, and seborrhea dermatitis; also calming to skin outbreaks triggered by hormonal imbalance or stress
