Fire Honey Apple Cider

November 7, 2017

Easy & cozy fire honey apple cider cocktails perfect for autumn! The crisp flavor of a nice sparkling cider is perfectly balanced out by warming notes of a good hard apple cider & ground cinnamon, the spice of a strong cinnamon whiskey, & the bright honeycrisp apples. You will love making these fire honey apple cider cocktails for your friends & family all season long!

The thing is, these fire honey apple ciders are incredibly well-balanced. The booziness from the whiskey is definitely there, but they’re not so spirit-forward that they’re difficult to drink. The apple cider or sparkling apple cider adds nice sweetness (but not too much! that’s why it’s important to use a cider vs juice), which is contrasted by the zing & tang from the Strongbow Honey apple cider beer & crisp, fresh honeycrisp apples. A sprinkle of cinnamon adds the final, perfect, warming touch of spice that makes these fire honey apple cider cocktails the kind of drink you want to make over & over again.

3 ounces Fireball Whiskey*

6 ounces apple cider or sparkling apple cider

3 ounces Strongbow Honey Apple Cider beer

1-2 drops Cinnamon Bark Vitality

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon or cinnamon sugar

for garnish (optional): thinly sliced apple, an extra sprinkle of ground cinnamon, whole cinnamon sticks

Combine the cinnamon whiskey, apple cider, apple cider beer, Cinnamon Bark Vitality, and ground cinnamon in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds, until combined & the ground cinnamon is evenly mixed throughout the cocktail. Evenly divide into 2 rocks glasses with ice. Garnish with apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and an extra sprinkle of ground cinnamon as desired. Enjoy!

*You can also substitute whiskey for bourbon.

Also, how fun would it be to garnish with apple cider ice-cubes?

To make apple cider ice:

• 1 1/2 cups apple cider fill in Peak Sphere ice mold

You can easily make these kid-friendly: by simply using just sparkling white grape juice or sparkling cider, apple cider & garnishing with an apple & cinnamon. My babes LOVE these all season long!

We adore these cozy, boozy cocktails this time of year & you totally will too. Cheers to autumn, babes!
