Our Favorite Rollerball Recipes

For me, it comes down to the cost effectiveness and ease that making your own blends provides. You can use and blend single oils multiple times in various ways versus buying one premade blend for a specific purpose. Which means that single bottle of Orange you purchased can be used by itself and in the focus blend and in the uplifting blend. As for using a rollerball – they are great for on the go and make applying oils easy peasy. Choose oils that will provide you with the health benefits you seek. For more energy choose: Grapefruit, Lemon, Orange, or Citrus Fresh. For relaxation choose: Lavender, Cedarwood, or Chamomile. You can also mix and match categories to create your own blend. With Jesus in our hearts & oils on our feet, this is how we roll… our favorite rollerball recipes.

Lavender + Peppermint (15 drops each plus carrier oil) to roll on neck, shoulders & temples for Tension Relief. Also comes in handy if you’ve had a little too much wine last night 😉 (do not use this if nursing)

One of our favorite blends, Happy Mama (10 drops each of Orange, Peace & Calming, Joy & Ylang Ylang), is one we love for any emotionally draining time, perhaps every day during witching hour or on every road trip with kids, and is amazing for things like post-partum emotions.

Frankincense + Lavender (10 drops each topped with carrier oil. This calming, comforting Supporting It All  blend can be rolled down the spine or on the back of the neck, good for road trips, when one of the kids is losing their shit marbles or as a way to support the respiratory system. Doubles as a good roll on for summer knees or skin irritations in a pinch.

Magic Roller: Add 10 drops Lavender to a rollerball & top with jojoba oil to roll under eyes to decrease puffiness in the mornings. When in doubt, use Lavender, it’s good for everything 😉

Owies: 15 drops Lavender, 10 drops of Melaleuca or Purification

DiGize (5-10 drops and topped with carrier oil) which supports the digestive system for a Happy Tummy. It never fails when we are out somewhere or on vacation, somebody needs this.

Stress Away + Orange (5 drops each topped with carrier oil) for Witching Hour. I love using this while I drive or on the kids wrists when they’re a complete circus in Target.

Thieves +  Lemon (3-6 drops each topped with carrier oil) as Immune Support on the go! So handy to have on vacation, road trips or just before you enter a playground full of little ones. Or try the Flu Bomb blend: 10 drops Oregano + 18 drops Lemon + 15 drops Melaleuca or Purification + 15 drops Thieves (apply on lymph nodes, neck, spine and feet when the flu is spreading to support immune system). 

Tantrum Tamer: 15 Valor or Valor II, 20 Orange, 10 Release

This is a collection of suggested recipes. These recipes can be adjusted to meet your specific personal and family needs. All recipes are for a 10 ml rollerball bottle unless otherwise noted. Citrus oils can be photosensitive. It is advised to wait a minimum of 6 to 12 hours before exposing skin where you have applied citrus oils to UV rays/sunshine.

You may need to adjust the drops (increase, or decrease) to get desired effects.
